This shawl took 15 hours to be made.

This garment has been made using natural indigo dye to create deep blue hues on its fabric. Each piece is dyed by hand using traditional techniques that have been passed through generations of artisans. The dye is extracted from the leaves of the indigo plant, which are first processed and then turned into a dye. The fabric is then dipped in the dye repeatedly, with each dip creating a deeper shade of blue. All motifs have previously been drawn with wax on the fabric to prevent the indigo from entering the fabric in that location.

All pieces are 100% made by hand, without any intervention of complex machinery.
